ISA Nagpur City Branch Hosts CME on ‘Anaesthesia Concepts – Un-learn to Re-learn’ to Promote Continuous Learning

The Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists (ISA), Nagpur City Branch, organized a Continuing Medical Education (CME) program titled “Anaesthesia Concepts – Un-learn to Re-learn” on August 18, 2024, at the J R Shaw Auditorium, IMA Hall, Nagpur. The event began at 8:30 am, emphasizing the importance of continuous learning and updating knowledge in the field of anaesthesia.

Dr. Gauri Arora, President of ISA Nagpur City Branch, welcomed the attendees and highlighted the significance of revisiting and relearning newer anaesthesia concepts. She proudly noted that this was the 20th academic activity organized by ISA Nagpur City Branch during the 2023-24 tenure, reflecting the organization’s commitment to academic excellence. The program commenced with a traditional Samai lighting ceremony, symbolizing the start of a fruitful academic day.

The CME featured distinguished faculty members, including Dr. Umesh Ramtani, Dr. Dilip Wasnik, Dr. Anjali Borkar, Dr. Devayani Thakur, Dr. Vinay Kulkarni, Dr. Neelesh Mathankar, Dr. Sonali Bhagat, Dr. Leena Ingle, Dr. Neha Gulkari, Dr. Bhuvaneshwari, and Dr. Vrishali Ankalwar, who shared their insights on various anaesthesia topics. The sessions were chaired by esteemed chairpersons such as Dr. Saurabh Barde, Dr. Sheetal Dalal, Dr. Manisha Shembekar, Dr. Kiran Vyawahare, Dr. Rashmi Shingade, Dr. Sarita Joglekar, Dr. Sachin Makade, and Dr. Kamlakar Pawar.

Dr. Monika Sanghavi and Dr. Shweta Bulle skillfully moderated the event, while Dr. Kiran Vyawahare served as the MMC observer for the CME. The program attracted around 85 delegates, who actively participated and benefited from the sessions.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Dilip Wasnik, Honorary Secretary of ISA Nagpur City Branch, who expressed gratitude to the speakers, chairpersons, delegates, and organizing committee for their contributions to the success of the CME.
