CPR workshop by ISA NCB at Dhantoli Park

Indian society of anesthesiologists , Nagpur city branch (ISA NCB) had organised CPR (a life-saving technique) workshop under the public awareness program ‘You can save one life’, at Major Surendra Dev Park, Dhantoli, Nagpur on 7th May 2017.

People were explained the need of learning CPR and the technique of performing it with the help of a chart. This was followed by demonstration of the same on mannequin. Hands-on basic life support (BLS) training was given to the attending people .

The workshop was conducted by Dr. Sheetal Dalal, Dr. Gauri Arora, Dr. Sarita Joglekar, Dr. Dilip Wasnik and Dr. Deepak Madankar, dr. Daksha Mandhaniya, Dr. Vrushali Ankalwar and Dr. Meghna Sarodey.

There was very enthusiastic response from the public and about 80 people attended the program. Many of them shared their experience of facing emergent situations where this life-saving procedure would have helped. Everyone appreciated the initiative taken by ISA NCB.
