The Best Paper Presentation Competition.

ISA Nagpur city branch organised ‘Best Paper Presentation Competition’ on 15th December 2012 at Paithankar hall, IMA house for anaesthesiology post-graduate students. Eight post graduate students from three medical colleges in the city presented their original research work. Dr (Mrs) Rashmi Deshpande and Dr (Mrs) Pratibha Deshmukh were judges for the competition. Dr Harish Chaudhari’s paper on ‘Clinical evaluation of intrathecal Dexmedetomidine as an adjuvant to spinal anaesthesia’ was adjudged as the best. Dr Rachana Bagrodia bagged second prize for her work on ‘Comparison of Ropivacaine 0.5% with or without fentanyl & Bupivacaine 0.5% in elective Caesarian section’. Dr Saurabh Barde conducted the proceedings of programme.
