ISA-NCB Conducts CPR Training for Zilla Parishad Schools
Under the Zilla Parishad, Nagpur, District Integrated Health & Family Welfare, Government of Maharashtra, a Mega Health Project has been launched for Zilla Parishad primary and secondary schools. With the support of CEO, Zilla Parishad Nagpur, Hon. Mr. Vinayak Mahamuni (IAS), and DHO, Zilla Parishad Nagpur District, Dr. Raj Gehlot, a Mega Health Camp is being conducted across 154 Zilla Parishad schools during February and March 2025.
📌 Health Camp Activities Include:
✅ Sickle Cell Diagnosis & Detection
✅ Blood Group Testing
✅ Basic Health & Personal Hygiene Education (by District Health Office)
✅ Good & Bad Touch Awareness (by Crime Branch)
✅ CPR Training (by ISA-NCB)
🩺 CPR Training Session at ZP School, Nildoh, Hingna
On 4th February 2025, ISA-Nagpur City Branch conducted its first COLS (Compression-Only Life Support) Training for students of 6th to 10th standard at Zilla Parishad School, Nildoh, Hingna, Nagpur.
🎤 Session Highlights:
🔹 Organized by ISA-NCB President, Dr. Umesh Ramtani
🔹 Demonstration & Lecture by Dr. Kirti Gujarkar (Executive Member, ISA-NCB & Associate Professor, DMMC)
🔹 Hands-on Training on mannequins, with active participation and engaging Q&A sessions
👨🎓 Participation:
✅ 100 students along with teaching & non-teaching staff enthusiastically attended the session.
The session was highly appreciated, reinforcing the importance of life-saving skills for young students and school staff.
