ISA NCB Women’s Box Cricket Team Makes Debut at “Khaasdar Krida Mahotsav”
For the first time, the ISA Nagpur City Branch ventured into the realm of women’s box cricket, participating in the prestigious “Khaasdar Krida Mahotsav,” a Vidarbha-level sports extravaganza. The event, held from the 17th to the 19th of January at Bajaj Nagar ground in Nagpur, is a brainchild of Shri Nitinji Gadkari, the Honorable Minister, aiming to promote sports across Vidarbha.
The ISA NCB team comprised esteemed members of the medical community, including Dr. Gauri Arora, President of ISA NCB, Dr. Anjali Borkar, Treasurer of ISA NCB, and Dr. Vrushali Ankalwar, a senior member of ISA NCB. Additionally, executive members Dr. Ketki Ramteke, Dr. Monika Sanghavi, Dr. Kirti Gujarkar, and ISA NCB members Dr. Shweta Takalkar and Dr. Vaishanvi Zile formed part of the enthusiastic team. Dr. Kirti Gujarkar led the team as captain.
The participation of medical professionals in such a significant sports event was highly lauded, highlighting their commitment to holistic well-being. Certificates of participation were presented to all doctors, acknowledging their dedication and sportsmanship.
