ISA-NCB Launches Webinar Series “IKCARE”

ISA-Nagpur City Branch (ISA-NCB) has proudly initiated a webinar series titled IKCARE to foster learning, innovation, and professional growth in the field of Anaesthesiology. The inaugural webinar of this series was conducted on December 19, 2024, from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM on the Zoom platform.

The session commenced with a warm welcome address by the President of ISA-NCB, Dr. Umesh Ramtani, followed by an introduction of the distinguished speakers and chairpersons.

Expert Sessions

  1. Topic: Remifentanil – A Promising Opioid
    Delivered by Dr. Indrani Hemantkumar, Professor of Paediatric Anaesthesia, Seth GS Medical College, Mumbai, and National GC Member, this session delved into the key aspects and practical applications of Remifentanil.
  2. Topic: Sugammadex – A Newer Essentiality on the Trolley
    Presented by Dr. Shilpa Tiwaskar, Senior Consultant at Bhaktivedanta Hospital and GC Member, SAMS, the session covered crucial theoretical and practical insights into this revolutionary drug.

Both speakers engaged with participants through a Q&A session, answering questions submitted via the chat box.

The webinar witnessed active participation from nearly 85-90 attendees and was seamlessly coordinated by Dr. Bhuvaneshwari, Executive Committee Member, as the Master of Ceremonies. The program concluded with a formal vote of thanks by Hon. Secretary, Dr. Anjali Borkar.

This successful beginning of the IKCARE series marks a milestone in ISA-NCB’s commitment to advancing knowledge and education in Anaesthesiology.
