Foundation
ISA – Nagpur city branch was constituted in 1973-74. Dr R.K. Pradhan was founder President; Dr (Mrs) H.J. Mankeshwar was founder Secretary and Dr N.T. Balankhe was Vice-President.
Accreditation
ISA – Nagpur city branch is accredited by Maharashtra Medical Council (MMC), Mumbai for conducting various Continuous Medical Education (CME) programmes.
Recognition
ISA is recognised as the representative body of the speciality by the Government of India, state governments, Medical Council of India (MCI), universities in India and the National Academy of Medical Sciences.
