As part of the World Anaesthesia Week celebrations, a walkathon was organized at the Indira Gandhi Government Medical College (IGGMC) campus, Nagpur, to raise public awareness about anaesthesia and the important role of anaesthesiologists in healthcare.

The walkathon highlighted the importance of anaesthesia awareness and the contribution of anaesthesiologists to patient safety, emergency care, pain management, and various medical procedures.

Dr. Shital Dalal, Honorary Secretary of the Society of Anaesthesiologists Maharashtra State (SAMS), participated in a public awareness interview to highlight the importance of anaesthesia and the diverse responsibilities of anaesthesiologists.

The awareness initiative aimed to educate the public about the essential role of anaesthesiologists in patient care and the importance of spreading knowledge about life-saving techniques and healthcare services.
